The hospital is conceived as a general hospital for the many workers living in the nearby compound. The hospital is designed on the existing skeleton of 4 dormitories for multi-storey workers. These have never been completed. The existing structure has compromised the best possible solutions and optimal circulation and future flexibility. UPA Italia The hospital will accommodate 162 patients into 5 wards with 7 isolation rooms, 6 bariatric rooms, 7 ICU with bays rooms. The milestone are: Surgery Department with 4 OPT and day surgery dedicated area, sterile supply unit for sterilization, outpatient department, imaging, rehabilitation, emergency, laboratories, pharmacy in addition to the required services departments. Desert Box is a small mixed-use center for shops and offices located in Madinat Zayed City, an oasis city in the middle of the desert in the Western Emirate of Abu Dhabi. UPA Italia UPA Italia The customer's idea was to make the architecture look like commercial transport boxes, so as to give the project uniqueness and character, despite the simple functional program. The use of standard dimensions derives from the boxes. This meant that composite volumes and façade projections could be created like a sort of toy volumes. The BVLGARI pavilion is a temporary installation commissioned by the luxury jewellery brand for Abu Dhabi Art 2012. The project was conceived as an exclusive and private venue and was required to be both representative of the firm’s style and its creative ideologies, whilst being emblematic of a “modern mythology”. Within an important residential area of high  quality villas facing the sea, a total built-up area of more than 2,500 sqm had been dedicated for the design and construction of a new three floor villa with underground service spaces . A space of approximately 4,800m2. dwp’s design for this particular workplace was tailored to create vision and transparency with design. Professional functional spaces that promote collaboration and teamwork whilst also demonstrating the banks forward thinking and innovative attitude were created through innovative design and unique space planning. While there are countless examples of bird watching structures around the world, there are none dedicated to the observation of flamingos in their nesting habitats. Traditional birdwatch structures tend to take enthusiasts up in altitude close to the tree canopies where birds nest and rest. Forsan Central inspiration has been taken from a bamboo forest to create a “Garden in the City” theme. The natural reference has been adopted playfully on the building’s distinctive façade through a sequence of vertical green and brown coated aluminium pipes that recall the image of a forest. It is also present inside the building with cafés, bars and restaurants immersed in a green park under one of the region’s largest geodetic skylights, that will ultimately give the whole project an outdoor feel. The development of the terraced tower allowed us to create a form that would break the monotony of the residential towers and compact monotone Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi and at the same time to have apartments with generous terraces overlooking the sea. The trend of stepped terraces also allows you to undo the sense of vertigo that you have on towers of this height and the apartments with a head for excellent visibility, unique to the city of Abu Dhabi.
