Designed by Atelier DAU, this unique architectural infill on an inner-city site in Sydney, Australia presents an ever-changing façade thanks to custom perforated bronze screens. Naturehumaine designed a minimalistic and refined chalet located in rugged terrain north of Montréal, Canada. The architects shaped the structure in a compact volume to reduce the footprint on the site. The squared floor plan is topped by a gabled roof structure. The modest budget led to a reduction of circulation areas, compact spaces, grouping of services and simple and affordable materials. Situated in the heart of Barcelona’s historic Gardunya Square, the Escola Massana is part of a long-running urban transformation process. Nendo sets out to encapsulate Athletia’s brand’s values into the interior design; a balance between movement and stillness, inner beauty, and compassion for the environment. Athletia’s flagship store opened earlier this year in Tokyo. Masaya Yoshimura The designers translated compassion for the environment into the use of recycled and biodegradable materials. The flooring is made of flaxseed oil, pine resin, and sawdust.  Masaya Yoshimura Waste from a ceramic factory makes up 43 percent of the tiles used for the counter and countertops.
