Coy Yiontis Architects is an award winning architectural practice based in Prahran, Victoria The practice, established in 1996, is a design studio committed to the creation of quality architecture and interiors through a process of constant evolution. The combined experience of the directors on projects ranging from small detailed interiors, through residential, retail, commercial, office and cultural up to major urban interventions, together with a creative approach to problem solving and solid experience in the building industry ensures dynamic and efficient delivery and outcome. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality outcomes for our clients. Our goal is to be innovators in our field and positive contributors to our built culture. The directors, Rosa Coy and George Yiontis, have been practicing architecture for over 30 years. They collaborated with some of the leading practices both nationally and internationally. After almost a decade working in Europe they returned to Australia to establish their practice in late 1996. Since then the studio has completed numerous residential and commercial projects and developed a reputation for highly crafted and detailed architecture and interiors of exceptional quality. They are recognised for their innovative use of space and materials and the clarity of their designs. Their work has received numerous awards and has been published in books, magazines and newspapers, both locally and abroad.
