PALENZVELA. Taller de Arquitectura
Antonio Palenzuela Navarro is graduated with a Master of Architecture and Urbanism from University of Granada (2006), Master of Heritage and Architecture from University of Seville (2014) and Master of Design in Engineering and Architecture from University of Malaga (2022).
From his childhood and adolescence he was influenced by the exuberance of the Alhambra in Granada, the modernist colour of Barcelona and the timeless monumentality of Rome. He has spent over fifteen years studying and developing an architecture committed to the place where it is founded, limiting his area of action to the Mediterranean, particularly in the south and southeast of the Iberian Peninsula.
His proposal of architecture is based on a Mediterranean philosophy whose method consists of approaching the building and its surroundings as a whole and where it is all architecture, establishing bridges of union between the existing and the new to be built, between tradition and the modern, …
