Aksdalbygget (Aksdal Building), is the new exclusive headquarter for Hatteland on the west coast of Norway. It is a building with very high environmental credentials. The building encorporates significant energy saving systems and creates a low carbon footprint. To achieve this goal Aluinvent was the natural decision as a facade material to adorn this building. Aluinvent's LO2 (two side open) panels were applied to the entire legth of the platforms at Corvin-Negyed Station in Budapest, a length of 125m on both sides. The panels serve a dual purpose, both aesthetic and functional, providing a unique decorative element and also functioning as part of a noise reduction system to make the station as silent as possible.  Aluinvent Prior to construction lab tests were conducted to establish the sound dampening properties of the panels. Tests showed the panels were twice as effective at reducing sound than originally required by the client. Aluinvent collaborated with Kingspan to deliver a 2000m2 facade to the DVTK multifunction sports complex. Aluinvent’s LO & LO2 panels provided a bold finished aesthetic, mounted on a console railing system fixed directly to the Kingspan sandwich panels. The two products compliment each other providing excellent thermal efficiency for the building. The finished facade is continuous and unbroken. This is thanks to the use of Aluinvent’s LO2 panels which allow light and air to penetrate through the open celled structure without having to cut large voids to accommodate window cavities and venting outlets. At the 2019 S/Alon design fair, we were invited to take part in the development of the lighting installation wall for BMW Wallis. The team was commissioned to create a design for an aluminium foam panel wall decoration which could be backlit. Part of the brief was to hide all wall fixings and joints to create a truly unified fully seamless wall piece. During construction, we used screws to fix the Aluminium foam facade to the console-railing system. The flexibility of the console-railing system enabled us to easily adjust it to the interior wall dimensions. This allowed us to complete the installation in a limited time span. Aluinvent LO & LO2 panels and sub-structure create the facade for this landmark Biomass Power Plant in Virovitica, Croatia. 1600 square metres of panels in a range of green shades  respond to the sustainable nature of the green energy produced by the facility. The design incorporates LO2 panels at strategic locations that allow light to penetrate, illuminating parts of the building’s interior. The LO2 panels simultaneously allow excess heat to escape through designated venting points whilst maintaining a constant unbroken facade. The use of Aluinvent’s recycled facade panels contributed to the facility being built in accordance with the Sustainable Development Policy of The Republic of Croatia and The EU. Caption... Más

The Budaörs bus terminal, winner of the BigSEE Architecture Award 2020 for Public and Commercial Architecture formed the focal point for an urban regeneration project which reimagined the existing relationship between the old terminal building and vehicular and pedestrian movement corridors. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean amongst the lust green paddocks of Berry, sit two tiny copper towers. Designed to provide the essential requirements for shelter – a bed, a deck, a fire place and a bathroom. The demands of living distilled to the essentials. The structure is made from recycled iron bark, sourced from an unused wharf float. For the outdoor art exhibition Beaufort ’21, Poly Products has manufactured an unique object designed by Goshka Macuga: Family Module. A group of figures shows a small family scene. The unusual dimensions, 6m high, make this an impressive appearance at the Nieuwpoort Promenade in Belgium. At first glance the object seems incredible massive and heavy but looks are deceiving: the object is in fact very light and does not have a heavy foundation. Poly Products’ XXL-3D printing technique was key in making these objects. Start small and go big: 3D printing is the solution Base of the project were 3 small clay models, each 40cm high.
