Located in the Tatuapé neighborhood, in São Paulo, Brazil, this apartment (165m²) was purchased by a couple with two teenage children and, to leave it the way they wanted, they hired the services of architects Lucas Blaia and Bruno Moura, from Blaia e Moura Arquitetos.
It took 8 months of work to make the project personalized, including lots of space and compartments so that the spaces are well organized.
As clients like to get together on weekends to watch movies, barbecue and listen to music with family and friends, the living room is the heart of the apartment. Integrated into the gourmet balcony, it allows everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy good times together, in addition to enjoying the view of the city.
The balcony even has two areas: the gourmet area, with a barbecue and bench, and another with a TV.
In the living room, the cabinet with china cabinet organizes drinks and adds even more charm to the place. Behind it is the kitchen, which can be accessed from both the living room and the balcony.
To create privacy, the mimic doors isolate the intimate area that has a hallway and three suites, one of which has the couple's closet.
To make all the ideas viable, the architects removed the kitchen frame and door that gave access to the balcony, integrating the spaces.
Regarding lighting, the option was for directional spotlights and ceiling lights that function as the main artificial lighting, in addition, LED strips were also used to provide more functionality for the kitchen bench, cabinets and office table, in addition to highlighting objects.
The decoration has a sober and neutral base with loose decorative elements. The design of the joinery was also done to enhance the decor.
According to professionals, the style of the project is contemporary with light, personalized and harmonious environments, as the clients wanted.
