Taller Capital is a firm focused on urban, landscape and architectural design, including the different spheres of influence that these specialties involve. We apply our knowledge in the professional, research and academic fields. Cities are our raw material. We design with the objective of providing solutions to various problems related to urban life, through housing and public space, developing solid concepts that link the territory with the city, its population and living spaces, of different scales and typologies. We seek the long-term viability of our proposals by presenting specific interventions with a systemic vision that results from a careful reading of the ecological, urban, cultural and socioeconomic contexts.
We work with a multidisciplinary team that includes architecture, urban design, hydraulic engineering, sociology and landscape, among others. We are interested in the easy implementation of our proposals. That is the reason why our focus lies on responding with practical strategies to the conditions of the site, considering as fundamental inputs history, local elements of identity, the characteristics of the territory, and the availability of site specific materials. We favor spatial quality and material austerity over luxurious finishes. Our projects understand design as the fundamental link between ecology and the social context. We find this relationship as cardinal to imagine the sustainable future of the environments we inhabit.
